Appearance---
Appearance---
Physical Appearance-
Height - 5’ 3”
Weight - 112 lbs.
Stryker could be considered to be built like a two-by-four. That's too large. Stryker is more likely to be voted "most likely to slip through the cracks in the floorboards." There's no muscle mass to the body, though Stryker is quite athletic. The detective’s arms and legs are a bit longer than an average person's, at the expense of a narrow hips and shoulders. Her hands are kept immaculate, despite activities that would ordinarily cause damage to the hands. She even goes as far as to ensure her fingernails are coated in polyurethane, to prevent scratching the surface of the nails, as it takes quite some time to grow out of nail damage. It does make them shiny though, and combined with the lithe body, Stryker has often been teased for being a "girly-boy."
Stryker has an effeminate face that adds to the sissy-boy accusations. There's a distinct sharpness to the chin and nose, giving her a stern look most of the time. Even a relaxed look can come off as a little on the harsh side. She has thin, pale lips that rarely smile, keeping a well-kept set of pristine white teeth concealed. And she has soft, round eyes that are a bit at odds with the otherwise sharp features and style of dress. Preferring to keep a medium hair length, the detective tends to constantly get small trims for comfort's sake.
Uniform- Stryker does not don the usual JCPD uniform. She’s not a street officer. Her skills are usually not involved in street work, so she’s allowed to wear what’s comfortable, as long as she keeps a conservative look.

Personality---
Personality---
Everything is a mystery, waiting to be solved. That's how the world is to Victoria. From birth, she had been given things like building blocks and shoeboxes to play with, anything that sparked the powers of imagination. So Stryker takes to machines with great interest above most other things, and loves nothing more than to see one work. Her entire childhood was devoted to tinkering about and repairing broken things. That, and learning. She pursued answers to any question that came up. This led to early realizations to things that could have waited a few years... Like childbirth. Still, the need for knowledge led Stryker into learning all sorts of hobbies and crafts.
Social endeavors were a bit more awkward. Rough around the edges, She tends to lack social graces like subtlety and the ability to chit-chat. Though not cold and inhospitable, she is just direct and relatively quiet unless a good question is posed. Stryker is very investigative with normal chatter, and will often try to give a point to a conversation that shouldn't have one. She just needs to see a purpose in everything. In an argument, her questions tend to get people to let their control go through "slipped" comments and she seems to be able to provoke people into talking. Which is great, because Stryker's more of a listener.

Powers/Abilities- Stryker’s unique abilities are linked to magic that she’d learned. All of her spells are divinations, relating to investigation, senses, and the answering of questions.
Arcane Eye - Stryker’s primary ability is the ability to displace her sight. She opens up a third eye on her forehead, looking as if it’s traced in faint blue energy. Closing her hand over the eye, it disappears, and becomes the focus for her sight when she wills it. She controls it subconsciously, and it moves as she wills, even going through air and solid objects. When detached from her forehead, it does not have a visual appearance.
Rewind - Through a ten minute ritual, Stryker is left helpless as the room around her rewinds temporally. While it is only a vision, she can see up to 24 hours in the past, like a three-dimensional movie. She cannot interact with anything while in the state, but she can observe and take note of clues or pieces of evidence.
Weapons-
Hold-Out Revolver - Used only for self-defense, she is a crack shot with the gun. It saves ammo, and reduces her chance of being shot all at the same time. Besides, it only holds six shots, she needs to make them count.
Gadgets and Gizmos-
Bulletproof Vest
Badge
Notepad
Cellphone

ONCE UPON A DECEMBER!
Backstory---[/center]History-
Victoria wasn't born of magical parents, nor was there anything remotely magical in the Stryker household. Stryker's tale and immersion into magical capability and the detective’s life is that of the cat, not the one that was killed by curiosity, but rather of a similar cat who instead found purpose.
Stryker was a curious child, in all manners of the word. The early life was filled with learning and imagination, where she displayed ingenuity and unusual dexterity. The child was tested for Autism because of the early signs of aptitude with minor social interest, but the results were negative. She was just a shy kid. Considering Stryker's father was a policeman, she always played on the heroic side in any imagined playtime, such as with cops and robbers. Her mother was a stay at home mother, often having to raise her child without the presence of the father. Policemen in Jump City were often on call for late night duty, so she was used to her husband being gone.
Middle school life was a bit more tense socially, as things got away from play and more towards relationships and popularity. Witnessing many acts of supposed stalking, rumors and such, Stryker got the brilliant idea to start doing investigative work. It was about that time that she began to dress up like a character in a Sherlock Holmes novel. It began with little cases like finding out who sent the anonymous love letters. When people got the sense they were being stalked, she was on the case. Cheaters? You bet she knew who they were. Her little business started to gain popularity, and it came to be that Stryker became known as "The Eye" for seemingly being able to see through any veil of mystery.
Then she became contracted for things that weren't entirely related to school. The first case was finding a lost puppy. After that was done, a girl asked to investigate a supposed stalker. Initially, there seemed to be nothing to the case. But in some suspect pictures, Stryker found odd distortions in the images. They weren't the fault of the camera. While investigating the client for clues to the nature of a stalker, she found the girl had been practicing in the occult, or rather dabbling. When the girl told Stryker of feelings of being watched in places like showers and her own bedroom, she began to suspect spirits. The paranormal never had solid evidence to prove or disprove it's existence. Finding out first-hand was a new priority for the investigating teen.
As the investigation went on, she tried to find a way to perceive the suspected spiritual presence. Constantly being exposed to the presence during the investigations led slowly to the development of Stryker's magical capabilities, namely the Arcane Eye. The suspected spirit slowly came into sight not in her mundane sight, but instead showing in the mind's eye when she tried to focus and concentrate on seeing the spirit. But what Stryker found wasn't a spirit, but rather an eye made of some form of energy.
After sighting the trail, she traced it back to it‘s owner, a voyeuristic master of scrying. He‘d never suspected that someone would come after him for just a scrying spell, when there were worse crimes afoot. He did escape her though, having a few more tricks up his sleeve. But not before Stryker got a hold of a few books on divination, books that seemed to draw her to them.
From then on, she‘d been trying to develop her latent talent, and was taken under the wing of a woman in the occult investigations department of the JCPD. Registered as a hero, Stryker was allowed a more flexible schedule and status as an officer and detective for the JCPD.
