Wolf Burdock McKenzie
Canon/Non-Canon- She's an original, believe it
Birth Name- Vexan1-battery
Secret Identity- Honestly she doesn't have one, she is who she is. It's not like she could of faked herself some documents and hid those animal characteristics of hers.
Nicknames- Wolfy, Fox Tailed Demon, Sly Fox, Sly, Psycho, Mnt Dew Monster, Caffeinated Crazy, Hell Hound
Gender- Female
Age- 13 years || Birthday: January 16
Race- Experiment
Alliance- Neutral, but looking forward to joining the Teen Titans
Alignment- You'd say good, but this mischievous little gremlin has been seen as evil at some points.
Citizenship- Neutral --> Hero, though if she ran into a villain who decided to use her for her energy supply, I'm sure that area could point at evil instead.
Physical Appearance- She's not your average human, even if her existence did come from Earth. You'll notice she has the characteristics of a fox or something of the category. Such as large red ears with white fluff on the inside. Along with that great big bushy tail of hers that she keeps well groomed. You'll also notice her feet and exotic color changing eyes. The color changes vary from green to grey to blue. She's a slight pale color for skin pigment and she has white, fluffed hair that normally she puts a pony tail in the back of. Don't mind her crazy bangs. The fur to her feet, tail, and ears is a lovely red with a brilliant shine. Note, this girl is only fifty six pounds and four feet two inches tall.
For clothing matter, you'll usually see her sporting a small black tank top. To go with that, hunter scout safari shorts. To top it all off, she added some red suspenders along with a stubborn, cocky, and determined expression. -- As for hair and other things, her hair is a very light tinted white that make her hazel eyes stand out. [ changing from Green to Blue to Grey for the eyes ] She's a very light pale, and has large white, retractable claws on her six toes and ten fingers.
Uniform- She wears her usual, red suspenders, tan colored short with a single pocket on the left, and a small, tank top. Uniform? No, could the Teen Titans talk her into one when she joins? Yes. If she joined the villains, yes, she'd most likely go for a uniform.
Outer Personality- To put it blatantly, she's hard headed and stubborn. But once you really get to know her, she can be fun to be around. CAN be, not will be. She knows how to make up her mind, and knows her duties when it comes down to it. If you strike a glare or negative influence her way in dislike, there's no way possible you will ever get along with her again. Once you strike negativity or hatred towards her, she will never back you up, but rather watch you fall off the tower with a dark glare unless she decided otherwise. Don't get this girl to hate you, you may need her one day.
Depression doesn't often hit this character, and she doesn't seem to know the terms 'shy' or 'stage fright' unless someone mentions love couple-wise. Though, she'll usually cover it up with a stubborn fang filled stink eye. She'd most likely be known as the life of the party that just doesn't know when to shut the music off [unfortunately] or perhaps the puppy of the group. Though, this puppy will go wolf on whoever messes with her teammates, so watch out.
You have to really get to know her to see eye to eye. Once you really get to know her, she could reach an understanding of behaving, hyper or not and prove her loyalty to the fullest, including giving her life for you. She's great to have in a tight fix, especially when she's on her toes, alert, and knows how to be mean mean spunky Titan that will chase after the villain until she's tackled them from behind. Though leader of the team or not, if you do not build this relationship, you won't get her to listen to a single word you say. So doing such, may be a bit more important than implied.
When it hits, she can have some true inspiration. She needs someone to teach her right from wrong and someone who won't negatively influence her. She's been alone for awhile, no teacher. Though she knows to stay upbeat and keep herself happy to avoid lonesome insanity. She likes to crank up the music, Black Eyed Peas as her favorite band, and dance it out. I hope the Titan of East don't mind hearing Let's Get It Started at three in the morning.
Inner Personality- She too does feel pain and sadness, but she won't show it unless she's alone. When around others, she may show irritation or just try to cover it up by pushing the thoughts of whatever it is to the side of her mind, still perfectly in view from the corner of her eye and go seek attention. What kind of attention? Basically, to just go talk to or have fun with someone. She doesn't like be 'awed' at or being babied in the spotlight, that'll just anger her.
Secretly, she hears voices inside her head that tell her to take over the world or well, basically ones that are different traits of a single personality. One may sometimes see this individual actually yelling at herself or even say something odd she usually wouldn't say, as if someone or something else had just taken over her body. This also seems to be the reason why she can't always make up her mind on a favorite color and such.
Powers/Abilities- Strengths: Well one would be her annoying personality. She's the perfect distraction when you want a villain's attention away from the team's plan. It's as if this girl's soul purpose is to bug the crap out of her opponent to the point they want to kill her, then run, STILL mocking them. Thankfully for her, she has some nice reflexes and good speed to keep herself from getting chainsawed.
With the exploited DNA that's visible in her physical appearance, one can see she looks like a fox and human got in a fight over a gene slicer and both parties lost. With some of the way she acts though, you'd think a cat got thrown in at the last minute. With the conclusion of all this, she has heightened senses. Touch, taste, smell, hearing, and vision. She's subconsciously, a very alert person. You really won't catch her off guard often unless she's goofing off with a friend or is that tired. Matching the top speed of just how fast a red fox could run recorded, 45 mph. For a more cat-like trait, she has retractable, white claws. She'd be one hell of a climbing acrobat, if it weren't for the fact she has a slight fear of heights. With her agility, reflexes, an speed put together, she may not pack that great of a punch but you're as likely to catch her as you are an oily, sudsy, bar of soap or slimy eel fish.
She knows how and when to fight her battles, she's a sly and quick witted thinker and usually knows how to get out of a bad situation. If not, she improvises. She's had to anyways after living on the streets for so long. This person has her days where she's on a role, or knows how to straight forward say what she means. When she makes a promise, she keeps it or dies trying. Loyalty is something that seems to be a built in trait for her. If you show her and teach her the meanings of being a team, she'll in return, be the wolf of the pack, protecting and fighting along side her teammates. Lay a hand on them, and you'll be dealing with this short teen's wrath. Don't judge by size, just because she can't really throw a punch unless she's got some massive battery power to back it up, doesn't mean her teeth and claws won't tear you apart. This girl has an attack mode, but she will never use it on a friend. This 'attack mode' comes in rarely, only when needed and still, she's not a super powered person, she just gets some extra strength boost like everyone else when angered. Hasn't it ever happened to you? It's called adrenaline.
Wolfy has some energy force in her that she hasn't fully discovered yet. She's basically, a living battery. Not only can she give energy off to other things 'only through machine, she can not give anything organic her energy' and power them like nothing else. This is basically her skill. She's not really hyper, it's basically this energy needing an out let over powering her. Now and then if it gets bad enough, you'll even see a transparent green energy come off her. Oh yes and by the way, whatever you do, DON'T LET HER NEAR LOADS OF SWEETS, CAFFEINE, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, MNT DEW UNLESS YOU WANT THE AREA AROUND HER IN RUINS. Yes, it may seem like a good idea to get her such to scare the crap out of your enemies, but if she still has left over energy surge, you're next. There is no self control for this girl available if she has such sugars, let her run it off just make sure you find her a place to do so that you don't mind being destroyed or horribly damaged. Mnt Dew for this girl is just a major do not. Though with certain machines with similar or parts built to absorb energies and ones that maybe won't explode or crash, she's able to surge it into the machine to power it. Has she discovered it yet? No, she wasn't specifically powered for this purpose to begin with. The only problem for her team is that she tends to not sleep for long periods of time and loves to pardon, I can see some fml's going around for those poor saps. *Jungle Vortex begins booming at three in the morning* Give this girl enough caffeine and sugar and she could power the city for thirty minutes to seven hours depending on how hopped up she is.
She keeps herself alert most of the time, including in sleep. Those large fox-like ears are always perked and listening for the slightest sound or sign on movement. It's really not easy to sneak up on this pupil, though if you do and fail, she doesn't pay you any mind or signs of anger unless you dump something messy on her.
Weakness: What goes up, must come down. Yes, she has an unbelievable supply of energy that provides some rather large boosts of energy that help give her strength, depending on the time and or situation. But also, she has some pretty epic crashes. When she needs to sleep she NEEDS to sleep. What happens if she doesn't? She could become horribly, or even after awhile, fatally ill and eventually die. When her crashes hit and she's tired, no more energy feeds, she takes that time to sleep it off. If she skips it, by the time the energy reboots she's not to her full potential, she's not very alert, she doesn't think well, and her care and attention lacks. She won't feel the need to eat or drink, and will starve herself until she sleeps. The next crash she skips, she'll become very slow and may fall in the middle of just jogging. She won't be able to move far and will space out. When energy feeds reboot, she'll lie around, feel horribly sick to her stomach, she won't eat, and she'll begin experiencing flu-like symptoms. It is by then you need to get her to a doctor so they may prescribe her some sleep pills. She won't really be able to move all that much, energy feeds or not she'll be utterly weak and not able to process very much in her mind. Pain is already there, so kicking her a good kick will only make her smack onto the ground and lye there. If, amazingly, she's able to skip another crash, she'll experience high fevers and the trembles. She won't have drank or ate anything for awhile, so she won't really be able to sweat and begin dying. Though surprisingly, she'll still vomit any fluids she may have left including blood.
- Ps on this note, crash or not, a machine built for it would still be able to draw energy from her, it would just have a negative effect on the girl. And she can not give her 'tired' illness to anyone else, it is not viral.
She tends to act like a little kid even for her age, but she has her mature moments. Her stubborn attitude will sometimes get in the way of things and she will refuse upon doing what she really does not want to do unless you have a good enough relationship with her or if for a villain, can scare her into it with threats.
She has a fear of hospitals and will not go to see any doctor of any sort unless she has a serious enough illness to where she can not really move. You mention shots around her and she'll go wide eyed, book it, and hide. If there are any pursuing her in order to make her go get shots, she'll run like hell to no end. When this fear strikes, there's no such thing as crash til after the situation. Be careful, she will bite. Though after being on the streets for so long, if she were to join the Titans East, it might be a good idea for the team there to make sure she goes and gets her shots.
She also fears large bodies of water, for she can not swim and she doesn't float very well. You need fat to float, with her size and all, she doesn't really have very much fat.
Heights are a weakness too, if a friend in need is stuck somewhere high, she'll suck it up and go help. Other than that, she doesn't seem very fond of climbing u too high or perhaps being held over the edge of a scrip scraper by her suspenders.
Weapons- No, no weapons besides her claws and fangs.
Gadgets and Gizmos- none
History- Project: Vexan1-battery
It didn't seem that horribly a crime if the child wasn't alive right? A fetus to be precise. Or well, not even that... More like an egg... Many scientists had been already mixing DNA together to begin with, such as a mouse with a cow, a moose with a bear, a fox with a cheetah. Though of course, they hadn't be allowed to let their creations live, grow, thrive. But rather instead, freeze and store them. What a waste of potential. One of the scientists, Professor Burdock McKenzie, had decided that maybe he could grow an enhanced animal.. why not? One that would sell on the markets for large sums of money! Oh hohoho, what a valuable idea. Having spent merely months of getting supplies, he set to work in the lab. Other scientists were still working on their stem cell research while he claimed the project of fusing the egg cells of a Red Fox and Egyptian Mau house cat into one cell, but promised no life to the creature. Others thought that these pre-created embryos might suffer from deformities or defects, which was why they weren't allowed to live and grow. Or that they could provide a threat to the human population and the world they claimed as theirs. The days went by fast as he thrived in his project, the egg nearly complete. Though as he picked up a glass slide for the microscope, he cut himself on the ledge. Gasping an 'ow', little did he know a flake of his own skin has landed on the cell structure, very very little and not even visible to the naked eye, before setting t down with a cover and carefully going off to bandage himself so not to tamper with his project. Who knew the consequences of letting human DNA mix with this, with his intentions on letting it live and thrive. finally came the day he finished it, telling the others it was a failure and that he had scrapped it. The truth? He put it in a special incubator with the soul purpose of letting his little experiment grow, and hopefully, create life. Life was spontaneous through bacteria and many many things, but could he do it with a special energy? He'd already failed in the past three times, something had been missing, but what?.. Well, another failed attempt wouldn't kill him. The special energy he was using, it came from the mutation of Zinc after being brought to and back from a lonely planet that is failed to be named due to it's classification. It was almost a liquid gas, formed together. But as soon as they brought it near their generations in the building, the one that had broke down thrived once more, and each over powered and exploded from the energy surge. What if he tried using this to create the life? Not only that, but what side effects could there be? Would it be a super fox-cat being? He couldn't wait to find out, and if it proved dangerous of course, he'd destroy it... Maybe...
Day in and day out, he watched the cellular ball in the clear green tented tank/tube grow. From the monitors' readings though, no life.... Either way, it was interesting to study such a magnificent process. By six months, one could see a head, large ears on top, a tail forming, large feet, and clawed hands. The only real concern was, the x-ray scanner was showing signs of a human skeletal formation. The face seemed flatter than a cat's or fox's as well, like a human... It seemed a mistake, which frightened, but also made him want to continue. There was no life readings anyways, the energy was a failure, just like before. some how, his DNA must of mixed with the experiment. Had he cloned himself? No, this fetus was turning out female but... It did resemble some features of him... Had he created himself, a monster daughter?... By nine months, he watched it form into a new born baby, but still, no signs of life. He began pacing the lab, scared of this being that was forming now, and beginning to cause much stress. It had some of his characteristics, and that of a fox and cat. If it ever lived, what kind of horrible creature could this possibly become? Could it breed? Would he of just created man's new horror of utter destruction? No, no life. Four years and three months had passed and the being was a little girl, but no life. He was beginning to get white hairs, just as white as the ones on her head. But the hair of her clawed feet, tail, and ears, red. Besides the white tip of the tail anyways. Finally, three days later, he couldn't take it anymore. Grabbing a chair in fear that this thing could become a monster, he began smashing the equipment around the tank that kept it stable. Causing sparks to fly in all directions with the sound of frying components. With more, fearful, crazed thrashing, he husked the chair at the tank and monitors themselves before what looked to be green electricity sparked out in all directions, brightening the room in a blinding light of destruction as the scientist let out a pain filled shriek of agony. He dropped to the floor once the electricity's shocking subsided, dazed and letting the pain leave parts of his body as a heated throb began to pulse. He stared at the ceiling, mouth gaping slight as he gasped for breathe and finally fell unconscious with fading vision.
Later, he finally awoke, staring at a white ceiling in his living room rather than his lab. "Whaaa?.." Still dazed, he rubbed the side of his head in slight confusion, he was on his couch. Was it just a bad dream?.... "Mep!" He heard, turning his head to look over at the large, greenish blue tinted eyes of a little girl he sat on the ground beside him with her face close to his. "BWA!" He hurriedly backed up, though was trapped against the couch as he blinked at the little girl with large ears in shock and at the same time, amazement. But the little girl didn't seem to budge, just lay her large, shining eyes on him curiously. He blinked again, mouth gaping in fear and shock. "D-Did you bring m-me in here?..." Though of course, the little creation of his didn't seem to understand, just giving her brows a distortion to show that she's confused. "Ehn here." She repeated out loud, trying to copy the meaningless sounds he made. "Brend back ehn here." Professor Burdock McKenzie couldn't believe his eyes, he created... Life... what was different this time to ensure it? The electricity... "SUCCESS! IT WORKED! IT WORKED!" He leaped up and shouted with joy, only to hold his back in pain. Not a good idea for his age. The small girl yipped in surprise, blinked at him, before doing her own little series of victory dances like him. "Yay! Yay! Suddess! Yay!" Then he realized, she would probably need some clothing... Interesting enough, she seemed to be a fast learner.
Over the next few days, he'd thought over whether to destroy this or not. This could be dangerous... But each time, he looked into the smiling eyes of the little girl and couldn't bare it. Over the years, he decided otherwise with a smile underneath his bristly white mustache. giving her a simply stroke over the head which she leaned into with a purr. this was a person, a living being, and he would treat her as if she were human. He would treat her, as his daughter...
"Wolfy, breakfast." He called out, making pancakes on the stove of his kitchen. The two foot tall six year old girl ran in to those words, happy to climb up on the books stacked by a chair before sitting at the table which reached nearly up to her chin. "Are they the Mickey Mouse kind?" She mused, her tail wagging from side to side with a steady, gentle brush. The sixty four year old man chuckled. "With chocolate chip eyes, smile, and nose." She liked the sound of that, he always knew just what she liked. Walking back in, he carried two plates. Both had the same kind of pancakes, one plate for him, one for her, setting them down before walking away to get the milk. Still happy as ever, her tail brushed from side to side with her large ears perked. "Here we are." He mused before setting their glasses down and taking a seat by her. "Woo hoo! Thanks Professor." She ended with a purr before picking up her fork and butter knife, cutting a piece for herself and popping it into her mouth. The professor admired his life's love, joy, and pride. He didn't know how he could ever live without her, watching her enjoy the breakfast before stroking her hair lightly. Of course the pancakes and chocolate chips he always made sugar free, sugar seemed to make her go off the walls and she was hyper enough, must of been from that energy. He felt horrible for it at times... It got bad enough she became unstable and just destroyed everything around her, she couldn't stop herself and it made her cry. He did his best to comfort her before putting her down for sleep. Throughout the day, he'd go down to his repaired lab and check her energy readings before working on an engine he had been designing that used nothing but water to fuel, then letting steam run from the exhaust pipe into the air to rejoin Earth once more through rain. With his inventions, money came easy enough, but sleep came little. Though either way, he always put his little girl first. One day he couldn't get his car started, yet he noticed when Wolfly jumped into the back seat, it began working properly. Studying this and having her jump back in and out, he later that week took her back into his lab. "Do you think you can get y engine to work Wolfy?" She looked over it, smiling and replied she'd be happy to help before walking over. He hooked suction cups with wires to her before trying to start it. It took a moment until it finally sputtered and began to work, water in the tank already and steam lightly clouding out of the pipe. Wolfy was happy with herself that she was able to help until she began to feel like something was sticking the powerful end of a vacuum hose into her stomach. Her lungs compressed for a moment before expanding again and her heart rate sky rocketed. She let out an uncomfortable whimper and then a scream as she began to shake and felt a burning/stabbing pain all through her body and her head felt like it'd explode. Seeing this, the Professor looked in horror before turning the engine off and running over to get the cups off and hold her. she let out a soft cry, her veins red rather than blue and her eyes a bright green with tiny slit-like pupils. She shook in pain, scared of what just happened as the Professor felt horrible and ashamed of himself. He'd never, ever, forgive himself for this, or let his little girl back in the lab ever again.. "I'm sorry Wolfy I'm so sorry.."
Only by age nine had word gotten out of what he'd done. Violating the strict do not of creating a duo animal. not to mention the fact that it took on the form of a human, due to human DNA. The Professor would pay some severe consequences for this indeed, and his experiment, destroyed. As they were sitting together one night, having sundaes with her giggling at something the Professor had said, a bang to the door had come from the room next door. "OPEN UP FBI! WARRANT FOR PROFESSOR BURDOCK MCKENZIE'S ARREST! Come quietly and we won't shoot!" Oh no, his face was stricken with fear. they were after his little girl... Wolf seemed horribly alarmed as well. Quickly the Professor leaped up as he heard the door kicked down, the must of brought military in assuming his little girl might be dangerous! "RUN WOLFY! RUN!" His chaired tipped over as he ran off the spot to shut the kitchen door. "W-What?!" Wolfy choked, looking terrified at the door and how her father was acting. "I SAID RUN, NOW!" She didn't want to, she couldn't leave him! "RUN NOW I'LL BE OKAY! I'LL COME PICK YOU UP AT THE PLACE YOU HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO GO! NOW GO!" This of course, was a lie. Wolfy had never even been outside this house because he didn't want her discovered, with a scared nod as the door was pushed open and hit the Professor, a red dot from a weapon fell upon her chest before she ran and more followed, guns going off. "CATCH IT, DEAD OR ALIVE!" Panting and hyperventilating scared, she ran from on top of the table, to the kitchen counter, and broke through the window, now only three feet and one inch tall. Out of the three story window, her tail bristled and she landed on all fours, picking up on two feet as instincts kicked in and she zig zagged into the brush while followed by gun fire. She ran, ran like she'd never ran before. Tears filled her eyes, she had to go back! No, she must listen to the Professor... She always did as he told her... Darting off the street corner, she kept running until she reached the bus stop outside of the Library. It was dark enough for her to hide under the bench, eyes still filled with tears as she waited. He'd be here... He said he would...
Today she roams the streets, unsure if she's still being hunted as some project or not. Not only has she picked up some mean at age fourteen, she's picked up a hatred for the military and gains pain after learning of Burdock's death that night, only three years after it had passed. She could be influenced by anyone these days, and her files of what went into her creation could be easily accessed by anyone who had the proper hacking skills. But either way, look out, for here she comes.
RPG sample As always, the streets were busy with people. Whether they were young teens out for pizza at Pizzaria, women back from shopping and enjoying conversation with one another, or some old guys at a picnic table playing chess with one falling asleep constantly. The birds were out, the annoying prep girls were on their phones, and another fourteen year old specific someone had just made off with someone's salami. "COME A' BACK HERE WITH A' MY SALAMI LITTLE FOX DEMON!!!" A large man witht he stereo type small black mustache, large nose, balding head and large gut with the Italian accent gave chase to a blur that darted around the corner into an alley.
The fat man was easy to out run, and that meat cleaver didn't scare her. With the man below in a stained and dirty purple tinted apron, he finally growled before stomping off and letting loose many colorful words. "I'll get you one day you little pest! This is the last time you get away with my meat!!!!" Yeah, he was a hit man for her. She sneaked into his store on many accounts before to steal different things. Sometimes she stole from the bakery, sometimes his meat shop, sometimes she even came out of nowhere and swiped a slice of pizza. Fish, now that was a hard to steal delicacy. But, it had been done before, nearly at the cost of her tail. Sometimes what she stole, she gave to stray cats or the homeless that sat around. But for the homeless humans, she only dropped things from above, not wanting to be seen. Unfortunately, cameras had caught sight of her in stores and shops and had pictures of her up to try and catch her so they'd stop being stolen from. But honestly, it didn't happen that often. Just when she got hungry, this week, she was a meat lover, except Monday when she made off with a loaf of banana bread. Hmn, her next aim, a banana nut muffin. For now, she sat on the bottom level of a fire escape with the ladder easily reachable from the ground, only teen feet up. Fat man needed some glasses. She couldn't help but snicker at that, taking a bite of the salami she had won, fair and square.
This girl had no interests in money whatsoever, she'd just rather take what she needed. Down below she noticed a rat digging around for food in a recycling bin. "Yeah, those are a pain aren't they bud?..." Before looking back out at the entrance of the alley and tearing a piece off her salami. "Life's rough, why not try to provide a soft cushion for the crash of others?" Before looking back and tossing the piece of meat. The rat was startled at first, hiding behind some card board before sniffing and darting forward, taking it in his mouth before venturing off to hide. Her slightly alert and perked ears leaned to the side before pulling back as she sighed, ripping off another harsh bite of the salami hungrily with long, sharp fangs. She never told herself not to think about the Professor, those Sunday night of playing cards, often pancake morning breakfasts, falling asleep and watching cartoons on the couch. Or waiting for him to fall asleep before she switched it to a horror movie. She missed him, even after all this time. "Remember him in legacy, not mourn." She murmured, her tail brushing over in a single sway across the rusting metal or her perch before taking another bite of her nearly half gone salami. She needed to remember him of how wonderful of a man he was. How great life was for him before death and how great he would of been to the future of helping stop so much pollution.
Her head lifted, no longer distracted by thoughts has her ears perked in alert behavior. Foot steps, and a new odor, smell. New scent that seemed... Not animal, was it human or?.. It seemed slightly different, altered, but she'd find out now wouldn't she? With a dark growl, she stepped back to try and hide in the light shading in the corner of the metal grate fire escape.
Name- Wolfy
Age- 15, will be 16 next month
Randomness- I'm insane BWAHAHAHAHAHA, and tend to have a personality disorder where my mind will take one trait of my personality at a time and use that for the time being. I do hear voices and argue with them =/ you're going to have a blast putting up with this xD
Did you read the rules? state your character's name backwards, yfloW
