Seriously, living in a city so prone to crime as Jump City, these people at the bank should know that those stupid guards wouldn't stop anyone. The two unconscious men on the floor should be enough proof of that.
Jinx just grinned down at them, clapping the fake dust out of her hands as if it had been a real big task to actually take them down. It'd been easy. A bit of bad luck thrown to the alarm, a little bit more to the cameras and then a lovely jump over the fairly too overweighted security guards. They should know better...
The sorceress stood there for a moment, looking around with her hands placed on her hips, thinking of what to do next. Well, this was a bank. There had to be money somewhere around, right?
The girl moved to lightly jump over the counter. The cash machines were far too easy to open when you give bad luck to anything. Jinx waved her hand over one, sending her usual pink powers to it, making it crack and finally open. Ah, so easy. Way too easy. It was almost boring... With a shrug she just grabbed a bag and started to fill it with money. She even started humming under her breath. There was no one else here, right? So why hide?

The usual went on. For the past three days a young white haired 'girl' of sorts had made her camp site around these parts. The streets bled of gangy cheats, motor oil, gas exhaust, and smoggy thrill rides. She didn't like it, but either way, it also fumed darkness. And what was darkness for? Darkness, was to hide things that you could not see. Most would think this pupil would pay attention to the moon as a stereo type, but she had no interest in it and had rarely ever in her life took notice of it's mere image other than three times before.
Though it was unlikely anyone else would know this, but she'd been visiting the bank often due to the fact that when those porky trio of cops visited, she was able to take a donut without really being noticed. How had she done this without being noticed? Mainly due to this pupil's strange short height and physical characteristics? It was oh so simple and old school, what looked to be a beanie sat over a thirteen year old girl's head along with being wrapped in a rather beat up and ragged coat of which she had stolen right out of someone's apartment when they left their elevated, patio door open. Vexan1-battery was like a spider monkey, and when she wanted something, it was hard stopping her from getting it.
Currently though, through the entire time, the four foot two inch girl had watched a pink haired mistress take out two people with ease and hop right on over to the cash 'box' as she called it, and pop it open without even having to push the countless buttons. Her large turquoise eyes set upon the pink haired girl as she did as she pleased. If she wanted it, she could get it, and apparently no one could stop her. Just like Wolfy... Getting up from her seat on the sidelines of where she had remained unnoticed for the moment being, Wolfy walked towards the counter where Jinx busied herself with the money. Her furry feet made light 'tat' sounds on the ground as she padded over gradually, walking under the wing that acted as a door for the counter and stopping just behind the pink haired teenager to watch in curiosity. "Why does pink girl need the green paper?" She never really quite understood the acts of currency, merely living inside a mansion and being cooped up til she abruptly found herself on the streets at the age of nine. "Does it make fire easy?"

Okay. From all the things Jinx had expected to encounter, this was certainly the last one. Sure, Jump city was known for all the weirdos and crazy people wearing capes and funny outfits (I mean, have you seen Robin's outfit? Who the hell told him bright yellow, green and red matched?) but all of them, well, Jinx had encountered. Even then, she would had figured that they were either villains or good guys. To her, the world was black and white, her being in the black part. Although if she actually thought about it, she wasn't as bad as some people at the H.I.V.E. and that certainly bothered her. Anyway, back to her current situation.
Jinx jumped as soon as she heard the voice. Being so caught up with her humming and malicious stealing, she hadn't heard the girl approach. At least she sounded like a girl. It was rather dark but Jinx managed to see was a little girl covered in a trench cloak that seemed far too big for her.
She prepared herself though, her hands immediately lighting with pink bad luck just in case she needed to fight. That was, until she made up what the girl had said. The witch blinked at her for a moment. What? ...wait. "Pink girl?" She huffed at that, a little offended. Jinx was very sensitive about her odd coloring. It wasn't like that girl was any better. She had freaky eyes for one thing!
The witch crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow, "You're not from around, are you?" She asked her, still keeping her distance, just in case the other girl turned out to be a Teen Titan. "These aren't for fire. This," She grabbed a green bill and waved it with one hand, trying to explain. "is money?" Was this girl retarded or something? "You know? To buy stuff?"
Jinx let out a sigh, pursing her lips for a moment and raising an eyebrow at the girl. She seemed so odd, not that Jinx wasn't odd herself, but this girl sounded as if she'd been living under a rock all her life. "Who are you?" She asked (or more like demanded) still in position just in case she would have to fight. "You're not a Titan, are you?"

Even though the 'villain' at hand had jumped in surprised and even seemed to raise threat with the pink glow of her hands, Wolf did nothing but blink lightly and twitch her right ear. Of which shown plainly as the lump in the right of her hat moved, showing some irritation that they had to be bunched up and hidden in there. With this damn hat on after awhile, her ears got rather sore. Other than that, no real movement or even change in her curious expression. She looked like an innocent kid who really didn't give a damn what this witch girl had eating her with some attitude at the moment. Hmn, Wolfy herself found the raising of her hands amusing. Though her mind told her she should step back, the white haired girl gave off a more daring vibe as she mentally gained a mischievous smirk. Though on the outside, still appearing as clueless and innocent as ever. And in all honestly, if Jinx paid attention, she might see the as Wolf watched the pink glow of her hands, she was actually tempted to reach out and poke them, just to see what happened.
The next thing that caught her attention were Jinx's eyes. She seemed to have cat-like pupils. How interesting, and even the irises were oddly colored. Well, the questioning for that would have to wait and come later. She snapped out of her light thoughts as Jinx waved the bill in front of her face, showing a bit more alert now as her large, bushy tail swished once underneath the large, paper bag brown trench coat stained with many things. "Money." She repeated, her small, black, wet nose giving it a sniff as it waved in front of her face before showing a slightly foul dislike in expression for it. "To buy stuff." She repeated again, now, looking up and directly into the eyes of Jinx. "Why don't you just go and take what you want? That's what I do and nobody ever catches me because nobody ever can." She purred lightly, oddly enough, the sound and vibration of purring beginning to emerge from the preteen. "Like how those fat guys couldn't stop you from taking the useless money." Still, she found currency an unnecessary item. She'd much rather go directly into a store to take what she needs. She made sure to repeat the word describing currency just as she had before, slow and clear to make sure the two girls were still on the same page.
Her pupils were still as large as ever, watching like a kitten upon Jinx and still having to look up at her. "I'm Wolfy, who're you? And... What is a Titan? Are they the loud, disruptive bunch in the colored undies?..." Yes, she had seen the bunch before. And she did find a lot of their wear amusing from time to time, some of it DID look like colored undies. Ever hear of degrading your reputation further? "You have cool eyes."

Jinx pursed her lips, looking at the girl for a moment. She had a point. Jinx had managed to take out the policemen a few times. She'd managed to break into the bank and steal money without many people noticing. She'd managed to even defeat the Titans a couple of times before, even if they always came back and beat her butt afterwards. But she'll be damned if Jinx ever agreed she was wrong and this girl was right.
"Because..." She started in her usual dignified tone, "It'll be a hazard to constantly fight for what I need and want." Yes, that sounded reasonable. "With this money I can get things without a problem. Without it I have to constantly steal everything and I'll have to fight my way out every time and that- that's just bothersome." Oh yes. Very reasonable. Pfft. Everybody would buy that. Especially in the know it all tone Jinx had used.
Jinx crossed her arms and looked up at the roof, feeling strangely uncomfortable around this girl. It seemed as if she kept staring at her for some reason. It made Jinx feel on the spot, and not in the cool 'Oh look! There's the famous villain Jinx we all fear but so long to be like!' but more in the 'Oh look! That girl has pink hair and eyes! How freaky!' kind of way. The bad way.
"Wolfy?" She repeated, almost snorting at the name. Okay. What kind of name was that? It sounded like someone's pet. Come to think of it... wait, did this girl just purred. Why was she so weird? She wasn't a Titan, but her description made Jinx laugh loudly, forgetting that the girl was creeping her out for a moment.
"That's right!" She said lightly, between laughs, "The ones in colored undies!" Another giggle came after she said that. She found herself liking this girl now. So, she wasn't a titan and apparently she even disliked them. Why would anyone say something like that if they liked the Titans, right?
The compliments just made her even better. "Thank you!" Jinx replied proudly. Not a lot of people appreciated her odd eyes. Sure, to Jinx they were weird and creepy too, reminding her of the black cat she was, but to this girl they were cool. "I like your-" She stopped, taking in the girl. A huge used coat and an old hat... "...yeah, so, Wolfy" another giggle, "Want to help me with this stuff?" She waved at the bag of money, "Maybe I'll share a bit with you."

A way to get what you need and want without having to fight for it? No trouble? It gave Wolfy a look of scoffing disbelief. As if the girl had just been punched in the face out of the blue and she was wondering what in the hell the puncher's problem was. And incredibly, Wolfy took it seriously as honesty, buying every word of it. Wait, what if they knew you took the money though? Would they still sell it to you? And what all could you do with this, money?
Either way, she didn't completely notice Jinx's discomfort, mainly because she was somewhat preoccupied by half of her mind drifting off into space right now. Either way, she knew what it was like being stared at. Plus, she was in hiding until she could find herself a family, people she could trust one day so that she could come out of hiding. She was still just as terrified as the first time she saw guns that she'd be hunted down and killed, though of course times of today may be much much different. She couldn't help but frown, her left top fang hanging out as she did so. She had to stop thinking about the Professor, that was in the past. If only she could figure out a way to erase the memories.
Hearing Jinx laugh, her bent ears perked slightly, the two bulges under her tight hat lifting the hat itself slightly. Laughing? Why was she laughing? "I've never actually been face to face with the colored undies people, just you and cops." Even if she made Jinx laugh, she didn't seem like others who would smile and take pride in this achievement, but rather tried figuring out what was so damn funny about it.
Also giggled her name. What was so funny about that? "I prefer Wolfy over the name I was born with." She began, keeping in a low and contented tone, still a very light purr went on in the midst of this. "It sounds like a robot or maybe a crappy vacuum with a spiffy name but you know will break down horribly." Either way right after that, her ears perked again as her large, bushy tail began in a gradually quickening wag. "Really? You'd share the currency? Wow... I wouldn't have to fight for anything anymore.. Though, get chased by the guy at the meat shop is kind of fun. He uses a bunch of funny words." And of course, it couldn't stop her from being completely happy when Jinx paused and looked over her poorly thought up disguise. Cocking her head to the side, she looked around cautiously before looking back. "If I'm with you, I can take off my coat, right?" The eyes that with it? A hint of pleading, kicked fox cub mixed with a kitten that had just fallen down the stairs. If this girl had the interesting pink hair, which Wolfy found slightly fascinating, and the neat eyes, then she wouldn't judge her upon her looks right? Then again, she was hoping no one else would. Maybe with two odd looking teens, they'd seem, normal. "I'll help you."

Jinx just thought this girl was weird. Plain and simple. And that was saying something seeing how weird Jinx was herself. Really! Who talked like that? But she wasn't a threat so she saw no point in fighting. The pink haired girl just shrugged, the slight amused smile in place. Even though if the girl had made her laugh, she still thought she was weird.
"You're lucky you haven't faced the Titans!" Jinx said, raising a finger in her usual know it all poise, "They are the local wannabe heroes. But they are nothing compared to the H.I.V.E." Okay, so maybe they had defeated them a couple of times. And maybe they managed to make the Brotherhood of evil disappear. Or maybe even kicked her own ass a couple of times. Whatever. They were still as lame as ever. It wasn't fun to be a good guy after all. Too much work and nothing to fight for.
So she preferred 'Wolfy' to her name? That must be some crappy name then. Jinx had always been Jinx her entire life so she didn't know what it was like to want another name. Jinx just suited her. Sure, maybe her parents had given her another but that had been such a long time ago and she'd been so young last time she heard it. Plus the people from her town had called her either Jinx or Demon, and Jinx just sounded more friendly, so she stuck with it.
"I'm Jinx!" She stated proudly, pointing at herself with her thumb in what she thought was a cool pose. And then the girl went on and on about someone chasing her? "Meat?" She repeated curiously, before shaking her head and hand in a dismissive manner. It wasn't important. "I might buy you a pizza afterwards." She proposed. No need to let this girl get her hopes up. "But we'll plan the sharing later. Now we should take the money."
Jinx picked up the bag with the money from the floor, moving to another cashing machine. But then the girl interrupted her again. "Your coat?" She raised an eyebrow again. This girl got weirder with time! "Yeah. Whatever. Take it off." She waved another dismissive hand at her. Why would she care about an ugly old coat anyway? And then she turned back to her task of making the cashing machine fail and open so she could take the money, not minding if the other girl was disrobing or not.

Again, she had to repeat; As if a machine processing and saving data. "Wannabe heroes? Hmn." Though, another name got her curious. Hive? Like, a bee hive, hive? That was interesting too, maybe if she stuck along with Jinx to help her carry this currency then she might get to find out. At the same time as all of this, she was processing Jinx's speech pattern. The way she spoke of the colored undies people, or the 'wannabe heroes' as she put it and their comparison to this H.I.V.E, perhaps an organization, she inferred mentally that if they were the heroes, then what did that make Jinx and her? Was Wolfy a bad guy? oops, that wasn't supposed to happen. Professor Burdock McKenzie had always said that a good deed goes unnoticed or rewarded, while a bad deed gos punished. Then again if you didn't get caught you couldn't be punished right? Well, maybe if she had been doing bad this whole time, she could use this opportunity to do some good. How? By helping Jinx get the money! By the looks of it she was taking a lot, and might not be able to carry it all herself. What better way to become a good noodle again by doing good?
Jinx, hn, she wondered why she was called that. Wolfy was called Wolfy because of the horribly vicious wolf personality she can pick up when she's furious, and generally plays off that with some other personality traits mixed in with that. Randomly, she tilted her head to the side about the pink glow from earlier. Aw crap, what were the questions she wanted to ask? Bah, damn it.
After gaining 'permission' to dismiss the bulky trench coat, Wolfy looked around before ducking low enough to hide behind the counter, which hadn't been hard for the short height she had. Off went the coat, falling to the ground along with pulling off the hat so that two large fox ears perked up with white fluff protruding from them. A large bushy fox fail swayed behind her before leading to her cat sized fox nose and furry feet with three toes on each foot. Though, clothed she was with a small black tank top, red suspenders, and tan tinted shorts. With a light hum of her own, she stretched her left leg for a moment much like a cat as the purring had died off by now, looking around before grabbing a bag from where Jinx had taken earlier and moving to a different cashing machine. Though unlike Jinx, she didn't have a witchcraft or pink glowing ability, nor did she possess a key. Looking at it for a moment to see how to open it, her ears twitched and she looked around instead. A light green transparent energy made a very hard to see outlined aura in front of her body frame as she reached out and touched the machine, watching Jinx to see how she opened the machine only to hear the door swing open. Looking back quickly she blinked in very very light surprise before beginning to hum again and grab money to place into the bag. Oh, maybe they were automatic? After the green transparent energy finally left the coils of the machine, the color slowly faded only to leave her eyes a bright green as her tail wagged playfully, this was fun. The Professor would of been so proud of her good deeds.

Okay, this girl wasn't getting it. Jinx resisted the urge to roll her eyes at her as she repeated, once again, what the witch had said. No seriously. Was there some damage there or something? Jinx dropped her eyes a little bit, waiting for the girl to process it all. Ugh, she could had gone and checked her watch already! You know, if she carried one...
Now they were back to business and Jinx was filling her bag with cash. Pretty, sweet, and more importantly, tons of cash. Now she wouldn't have to rob every single store she came across to. She could hide... Maybe... as a civilian. Maybe wear a wing and sun glasses to hide her eyes and, presto! A hiding girl with tons of cash to spend! Oh, think of the clothes she could get!
Wolfy was already losing her coat but Jinx was too busy imagining all the things she was going to buy. "I think I'll hit the mall first," She commented, her eyes fixed in the job at hand, "Buy a lot of clothes... there's this new brand I want to try out. They have the best tops! And they have this- Oh my god, you have a tail."
Jinx's eyes had casually traveled from the bag to the girl, to the tail, to the bag, to the tail again, just in case her mind was playing tricks on her. It wasn't. And it didn't end there. The girl had ears too. Pointy fluffy ears. Like those of a dog. Jinx's brain had one of those 'Aaah!' moments when it realized the girl had powers too. Well, duh! Why else would she be inside a bank! ...Maybe the retarded one was really Jinx.
"Impressive!" She said lightly, as if it was nothing. Well, the girl had bubblegum pink hair and cat eyes. Did you really expect her to be surprised by a fluffy tail? A few more mutated genes and Jinx would have one herself. Good thing she didn't though. It would be really hard to fit in the dress she was wearing if she had one.
The girl opened the cashing machine and Jinx smirked. Good. The witch went back to her task of filling the bag with tons and tons of bills. "And we can get you tons of meat too." She joked, although she wasn't sure if the other girl had gotten the joke...

It was a fairly nice day, she told herself as she walked around the city. Nice and quiet. The sun was out, (though she doubted her blueish skin would ever really tan...) there were no clouds in the sky... Lin sighed, a smile on her face as she skipped along the sidewalk lightly. What was she going to do today? She'd thought of accessing her old bank account overseas, but something told her that wouldn't work... And if she was to make a new one here in the US, they'd realize that A) She was an illegal immigrant, and B) She was (she assumed) listed as dead in her country of origin. Not to mention she needed an address to get an account... And something told her 'underwater hole beneath Titans Tower' wouldn't be the best mailing address.
Continuing along her walk, she blinked as a few fairly injured security guards came into view. "..What..?" The girl frowned slightly, picking up the pace as a small crowd began developing, pushing her way past. "What's going on...!" It took a bit, but she soon got her answer as she peered into the windows of the fairly held-up bank. "...Robbery..."
Weren't the titans usually here by now? She bit her lip, looking around nervously before turning back to the bank. "Ahhhhh...." Not good... The fact that one of the thieves was fairly reminiscent of some sort of humanoid dog or cat seemed to completely fly over her as she pondered on doing something or not. It wasn't so much that she wanted it to happen but...
Truth be told, she didn't think there was much she could do...

Post by Jack The Ripper on Aug 1, 2010 1:57:33 GMT -5
Another fine day was out and it couldn't get any worse. Was all Jack The Ripper could think. A new hero that has made his way into town. Jack was wearing his usual black jeans and black hoodie with the red branded writing. Along with his full white blank mask hiding his face. Running from roof to roof Jack could only hope that something would go wrong. This was one of the problems Jack had with peace. It meant it was going to be boring. Being a born fighter and a half demon, fighting was in his blood. Though all of his boredom was thrown out the window when he looked down only to catch the glimpse of a odd skin colored girl. She seemed to be watching something and Jack wanted to see just what was going on. Diving off a higher up building and sliding down along the glass Jack leaped off at the last second to roll across a roof and come to a stop on the edge. Watching he saw that the bank was being robbed. Jack wasted no time as a demonic smiled crossed his face. His sharp fangs pushing against the white mask across his face.
"Finally something fun."
Without a sound Jack jumped across to the roof of the bank. Once he got there he walked across without a sound to the air vents. Closing his fist a blade ripped through his hoodie. A large scythe blade was sticking out along his arm shining in the light of the sun. Jack held a smile on his face as he took a big leap into the air and then went straight down through the vent and then cutting down through the ceiling into the room with the other two that were in there. The dust cleared around him and Jack stood there with his one blade sticking out of his arm looking at the two girls in the bank. Speaking in a soft voice Jack held his wild smile that was almost visible through the mask.
"I don't think that stuff belongs to you."
Jack just stood watching the two. They both were sort of odd but the Fox girl really took the cake. Though he was kind of amused to see something so strange. It just made it more interesting. Then the other girl with the pink hair well she just seemed like the typical bad super villain. Even though the eyes were something to take into account. His eyes tracked all the movement in the room and he just waited for a chance to react.
