Blinking in surprise, he wasn't expecting Jinx's insight. Yes, he had been thinking about Angel. Was he that transparent? To be honest, he was a tiny bit embarrassed to be caught thinking of her, but Jinx's teasing was tolerable. The guys were different in that regard. They were merciless. Some of them still thought of girls as cootie queens or worthless wastes of time. So he shrugged and looked away. But he had decided he might as well try Jinx's advice and see what Angel thought of the jewelry. It couldn't hurt, at the very least.
He made a face at the mention of mushroom pizza. Definitely not to his taste. They were slimy and had a weird texture. And smell. He just plain found nothing redeeming about them. Other than that, though, he was content with having Jinx choose what they ate. If anything, he could just pick mushrooms off.
Wandering into the pizza place, he looked over at Jinx, knowing she'd order, and he found a spot towards the back, where they wouldn't be easily noticed but could still watch everything that went on. It was a precaution, in case somebody unsavory showed up and they needed a quick escape before being spotted. Funny how most of his life worked that way. He must really love the shadows.

Jinx laughed again at his expression when she mentioned mushrooms. Yes. She knew all of their tastes. Maybe they weren't used to pay attention to details, but she did. She was a girl after all. She noticed that kind of thing. Troublesome part was they didn't seem to notice anything about her. Ugh... Men...
Well, seeing how Wykkyd was being his usual lovely gentlemanly self, it was left to Jinx to ask for the pizza. Of course people around seemed nervous as the two odd kids walked in. Not that Jinx minded that much. She actually liked having a reputation and being feared by others. R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Yes. That was all she wanted.
"One Hawaiian Pizza!" She ordered the nervous looking girl behind the counter. "And don't make me wait!" Of course the other employees started making the pizza and everything was going just fine, that was... until the girl dared to charge.
"Tha-that'll be seven dollars please." Ah, poor incredulous human. Jinx smiled as she leaned against the counter. She wasn't much for hiding. Not like Kyd Wykkyd was. He seemed to like avoiding trouble when Jinx actually looked for it. Her way was more fun!
Her eyes glowed pink and the cash register exploded, making bills fly around and coins scatter. "You were saying?" She asked in a cutesy tone before smirking and leaving to catch up with Kyd Wykkyd. She let herself drop to the chair, smiling proudly at herself. Well, this was turning into a fun night! ...Until she realized she was stuck in a table with a guy who didn't talk.
Jinx leaned forward, resting her chin against one hand as she stared at the boy before her. "Are you really this quiet with Angel too?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. She really didn't expect for an answer. Which meant more talking time for her!
"I don't know how she doesn't get bored with you." Ah, social skills. "I would hate it if a boy didn't talk back. It would be very boring." Jinx, as always, didn't measure that her words could hurt the one she was talking to.

Kyd Wykkyd watched the trouble Jinx made with the girl behind the register with some amusement. He may take to the shadows, rather than cause a ruckus, but it didn't mean he didn't enjoy watching one take place. He set the laptop in the seat beside him, then began to trace the etchings that were on the table. K+C in a heart. Brett wuz here. That kind of thing. Well, nobody said it was a classy joint. He didn't look up when Jinx took a seat, though he did when she brought up Angel again.
He glanced upwards, thinking about it. He didn't need to think about it. He was quiet, yes. Was that a big deal? It seemed to be with Jinx. Angel seemed fine with it, though. She said some girls preferred quiet men. They were more mysterious. How did that saying go? Better to keep the mouth shut and look stupid than open it and prove it? He liked that saying.
A shrug was how he answered Jinx's assessment. It was all a matter of opinion. He knew from basic observation--and from her saying it right now--that she didn't like quiet people. He should comment on the Kid Flash affair. Jinx had obviously liked him, in that way of hers that seemed more like she didn't like him. Angel tried to explain it once. Kyd Wykkyd still wasn't quite sure how it worked.

He didn't reply, but he did look up at her. Jinx just frowned for a moment, raising and eyebrow ad actually expecting an answer, even if it was just a nod. "See? How can she get to know you if you don't reply to anything? I mean, I know the other guys don't care you don't talk, but it's really not normal."
Jinx leaned forward to him and smiled up, "But I have to say, this is the first night I've spent without wanting to hit you. Well... not that much anyway. I mean, when you're all together it's really hard not to get mad." That bit was obvious. Jinx constantly got mad around the boys, mostly because they never listened to her.
A very scared waitress approached them as another one pushed her towards their table. "You-your pizza..." She said nervously, placing the box in the middle of the table before running away from them.
Jinx just smiled and waved at the girl goodbye before opening the box. It smelt great! It should, after the threat of having two well known villains in the place. The girl just noticed how it was deserted apart from them and the staff were running away. Not that she cared much for it. The enchantress just grabbed a piece and gave it a big bite. Yum!
He just shrugged and Jinx took that as a chance to continue, once she swallowed the pizza. "A man should be bold and handsome." She said, waving her piece of pizza while she talked. She had that pose of someone very experienced, though Jinx had only had one boyfriend before in her life. And that hadn't been a very established, deep relationship either.
"And he should straight tell the one he likes he likes her. Have you told Angel that?" And she was sticking her nose on somebody else's business again. Not that she cared much about being nosy. Romance was something she actually enjoyed.
