Conner Kent, Kon-El, Superboy; all these titles were names used by the latest addition to Kara's multi-species adoptive family which now included humans, a Kryptonian, a Kandorian (herself), and now a Kryptonian/Human genetic hybrid. Soaring over the Metropolis skyline, Supergirl couldn't help but grin wryly, and perhaps a little sadly, at the life she now lived and the people she shared it with.
Like with Clark, she'd swiftly come to think of Conner as her cousin in all but blood. In fact, perhaps due to their ages, she sometimes found she could connect to him better than Superman. Now, with heavy thoughts on where to spend her immediate future and his old team of the Teen Titans a very real possibility, Kara found herself seeking out Superboy. She knew a particular park he often hung around and so headed towards it first.
As luck would have it, there he was; Supergirl swooped down to the bench on which the younger of her adopted cousins was sitting. Alighting on the ground a few yards in front of him, she gave a short wave and soft smile as she strode forward.
"Hey Kon, got a minute?"

Kon-El smiled showing the same signature boyscout smile his genetic father Superman was known for. He waved as his adopted cousin flew down towards him and asked for a minute of his time.
"Sure thing. Whats on your mind Kara?" Superboy asked to his adopted family member.
Superboy smiled remembering the times he and Kara would spend in the corn fields of Kansas using their super speed. He stood up to meet with his cousin eye to eye. It was amazing, even though they were somewhat related by the influence of the "man of steel" superman they shared the same Kyptonian Un-Earthly blue eyes.

"The future," were the word that immediately slipped out in response to Superboy's question. Gee, cryptic much, Kara? She wasn't getting to be as bad as the bat clan folk, was she? Shaking such pointlessly meandering thoughts away, the blonde refocused on her companion.
"Sorry. It's just... I've been on Earth for a while now and been Supergirl pretty much the whole time. Being a hero is my role on this planet and..." Supergirl hesitated, trying to be tactful. After all, Conner was freelancing at the moment too and she wasn't trying to be scornful of any of the many young vigilantes who operated solo all over the world at all.
"I think it would be appropriate for me to become a part of the bigger picture at this point." Settling on that phrasing, Kara continued witht the obvious conclusion;
"I want to join the Justice League." She was pacing slightly now, glancing periodically back to Conner's gaze.
"The thing is that that's a big step and I'm not sure I'm prepared to meet their standards just yet." Coming to a stop in front of Superboy once more, Kara spread her hands and shrugged. Time to just get to the point; that was mostly her style in both words and actions anyway.
"What can you tell me about the Teen Titans?"

Superboy's eyes widened when she mentioned the justice league. Then she asked his thoughts on the titans. Did she want to join the Teen wonders? The thought it her being his house-mate. He couldn't help but grin. "The Teen Titans?" he said. "My true thoughts on them are..." He said closing his eyes and crossing his arms.
"A good training ground if you want to join the league, i recomend it." He said giving a thumbs up. "That and if you want to make life long friends it's a good place. I can honestly say for any of them I would die for..." He said remembering the infintite crisis. The blood that warmed his mouth and the bruises on his face caused by the massive explosions. How tight Wonder Girl held his hand at his last few breaths of life.
"I wish you luck in your quest to join the league." He added in opening his eyes, " Though if you want to join the Justice League, It's important to know how to work well with others. The Titans can help with that."
