"Oi!~ Your face is getting redder...."
Jack spoke out being amazed at how red she was getting. Though he also found it kind of funny. When it came time for his true answer though Jack had no idea what to really make of it. Though when Jack heard her say something about not being accepted he got up and hugged her. Speaking in a soft voice that got a bit louder to a more normal tone as he went on.
"Well of course I accept who you Maia don't worry....Though....wait....does that mean that it has to be same bed? So if I was sleeping on the ceiling and you on the bed nothing crazy would happen like...a explosion? So why is it such a big deal....My head hurts...."
Jack let go of her gently and flipped back landing on the bed. Sitting down in the center he just watch Maia with a very puzzled and curious look. A part of him was happy how she reacted when she saw him. While another part kind of got a little scared. Of course Jack never been around someone like Maia meaning he had no idea what to expect.

Oh, if she could have she would have been blushing deeper as he actually held her. It was probably a good thing Maia didn't know he found it funny...like that would make her feel any more embarrassed, anyways.
"Thank you, Jack." Hm...the ceiling. The first thing in her head, funny enough, was 'like a vampire?!'. But she decided it was best not to say it. "Um....I-I don't know. I only know what my parents tell me. But...sleeping in the same room they might get paranoid that we'll end up in the same bed together."

"Maia you look nice when you all red."
Jack let out a light laugh and soon stretched his arms and legs out. Looking at Maia as she tried to explain everything Jack just gave a slight nod. He understood that now though realizing if Jack and Maia didn't really know how it would be like giving two guys some wood and tell them to make a bridge. Wouldn't work in Jack's mind. So at least they don't need to worry about Jack trying. Plus the thought of a kid having to suffer a curse of having to be bad or suffer pain is something Jack couldn't bare.
"I understand it all Maia. Though now I just interested in your reaction. It's nice to see for some reason. Though I think you should teach me about pajama bottoms before bed time. You need rest."

....nice? Maia smiled, looking shyly at the ground. "Th-thank you, Jack."
Yeah, but she didn't think of that. All she knew was her parents wouldn't like that. They both came off nice enough but she learned from an early age it was best not to do anything to upset or worry them. The reaction of Maia's parents when they first got there was evidence of that.
"Hm? Oh. Right!" She nodded, going over to a dresser and opening it up. She reached in and pulled out a pair of dark gray pajama bottoms. "You just wear them like normal pants. To be honest I don't wear pajama bottoms anymore unless it's to cold for a nightgown alone but they're pretty much pants meant to be slept in."

Jack watched her get the pajama bottoms out and explain that they just like pants. So that made it simple enough for Jack. Taking the pajama bottoms from Maia Jack looked them over and let out a nod to himself. Using his reaction time and skill Jack jumped up into the air and landed with his pants in his arms. The pajama pants were on Jack now and he was looking at them content with how they fit.
"Well they fit nice. Thanks Maia."
Jack sat on the bed wondering if he could sleep this night. The chance sure was high with a bed like this. Though Jack knew if he started thinking about something it would probably ruin all that. Letting out a sigh Jack spoke in a soft voice watching Maia.
"It has been a very long night I guess. You should get some rest Maia you been through a lot today. I'll see you in the morning."

She had been about to turn around but stopped, seeing he was already in them. Wow....that was fast. "Of course. It's no problem."
Maia gave a small nod, smiling. "Yeah...I suppose it's been quite a night for us both. Good night, Jack. I'll see you in the morning." The morning...where she'd be a 'normal' girl again. Would he still like her then? When she looked like a human and he was still half demon? Only morning would tell as she left the room to go to bed.

Jack gave a nod as he soon watched her leave the room and head for bed. Sitting alone in the room now Jack went back to the window watching the rain hit the glass. Seeing his reflection Jack could only stand there wondering who exactly it was he was looking at through the glass. This place he was in wasn't Jack The Ripper. This feeling around Maia was not something he would be feeling. It was like something snapped inside him.
"Even if this curse will one day burn me away. I need to stay strong. I have something to lose now. Something worth keeping."
Jack took a few steps back then fell back onto the bed only to stare at the ceiling for a little bit. Watching as his eyes slowly started to close. His pain filled body found relief in the bed he was laying in. Though Jack knew that this couldn't be long term. No one could want him around that long. Though it was nice of them to try and help him. Jack thought to himself as his eyes finally shut and finally fall asleep.
"Least the bed is nice."
